Temporary Venue During Exams

During the Campbell College summer exam period BFC is temporarily moving to First Holywood Presbyterian church hall at 7 Bangor Rd, Holywood, BT18 0NU. For directions go to http://www.firstholywood.co.uk/#!contacts/vstc23=how-to-find-us. This change applies from week beginning Mon 20/05/13 to week ending Fri 14/06/13. Wed and Thu classes will run as normal, but from 1900-2100. The hall will also be available to us on an ad hoc basis for Friday night sessions, depending on hall availability, members to be informed by text.

2013 BYC Results

Well done all BFC fencers who attended the 2013 British Youth Championships in Sheffield last weekend 4th-5th May. This is the major UK youth fencing event of the year, with all the the top British juniors competing in U12, U14, U16 and U18 age groups. BFC results below.

U18 Girls: Victoria Duxbury 6th.

U18 Boys: Stephen Brown 28th.

U16 Girls: Keziah Beattie 12th, Rachel Philpott 15th.

U16 Boys: Daragh Patterson 37th, Theo Millar 49th.

U14 Boys: Jake Bodels 12th.

U12 Boys: Finn McMullan 59th, Matthew McKay 64th.
